An estimated number of 150,000 participants attended the demonstration held in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv on Saturday night under the slogan: "The Majority Has Decided. Leave Gaza. Start Talking" .
Dozens of Courage to Refuse member participated in the demonstration, wearing the movement's white-and-blue T-shirts and carrying big signs demanding to get the soldiers out of Gaza.
Many of the demonstration's attendees showed interest in Courage to Refuge's printed materials set on special stands which were built by the refuseniks for the event. Hundreds read the leaflets, bought hats and pins with the Courage to Refuge's logo and watched videos with the combatants' testimonies from their service in the Occupied Territories.
Prior to the event, some reports were published in the Israeli press, saying that the demonstration's organizers objected the refusniks' participation and that they would prevent the refuseniks from attending the demonstration. However, when Courage to Refuse representatives called the organizers, the latter made it clear that no such decision has ever been made, and that they had no intentions whatsoever to prevent the combatants from taking part in the demonstration.
