I am writing an article about how groups address pervasive, institutionalized systems which restrict their freedom to travel. For example, for 50-odd years in the United States there was a tourism/travel book ("The Green Book for Negro Travel") that stipulated safe ways for Blacks to travel within the U.S. without violating segregationist policies and practices--basically it was a survival handbook for these people on how to work within the existing dominant oppressive culture. I am interested in knowing about handbooks for travel for Palestinians and Israelis--what to do, what not to do, and that sort of thing.
Any information provided would be greatly appreaciated.
